There are some amazingly cheap deals between
the UK and the Alps, so shop around to work out what
is the best bet for you and where you're travelling
from. On arrival - If you are staying in Les
Arcs, Val d'Isee or Tignes, we will pick you up for
free from Bourg St Maurice train and bus station and
take you to your accommodation. If you are staying in
Chamonix, we will be able to help you with booking transport,
and will meet you in resort when you arrive.

Easyjet.com fly direct to Geneva and Lyon from around
the UK - Geneva is only an hour from Chamonix and 3
hours by bus from Bourg St Maurice.

You can get the Snow Train direct to Bourg St Maurice,
or go by Eurostar to either Paris or Lille then change
to a TGV to Bourg St Maurice. The Eurostar.co.uk
office in London can book and advise about connections.
Good discounts are available if you book well in advance
and are under 26.
You can pick up local trains from Lyon airport to Bourg
St Maurice (take about 2 hours). Look at www.sncf.fr
for more information on timetables and booking.
There are also buses from the main airports to both
Chamonix and Bourg - click for info in English on bus
prices and timetables (coach-station.com) or altibus
from the airports to resorts. You will probably need
to book in advance.

There are direct buses
(gobycoach.com) available from London to Lyon for
as little as £30. Or, if you have your own car,
