WEEKS 1 & 2
SNOW AND CHALET REPORT
Tignes
The planet Tignes crew arrived in resort
on 7th December and have quickly settled in to what
looks like it's going to be a memorable winter. We've
already had more powder days than the entire season
last year - and it's not even Christmas yet.
Pete 1 (Ormski) is setting the slopeside
standard with a marathon training mission: 1 hour hikes
followed swiftly by bling bling at subzero (a very well
named club, methinks) and an expertly executed tree
steal. Mutzig gives you wings, right? But only when
the naked ladies are talking. Or something like that.

Daddy cool has a new protege - 10 years
his junior and already completed his season mission.
360 on the 10th attempt. Can't argue with that! Unless
there's an American at stake ...

The boy has many guises. 1043 Chris Harris's
to be precise. So far we have: Harris no 1 - winner
Harris. Harris #234 Stinky Harris. Harris #789 Impressionable
Harris. Harris #49 Tuna sandwich Harris ... the list
goes on. Sadly we haven't yet seen Harris #57 Talking
to women Harris. Even a trip to Val d'Isere for the
Natives party, 2 pints of rose, and Street mate in the
Alps couldn't bring Harris #511 - Shy Harris - out of
his shell. Watch this space.
The nutters (aka Mart and James) are definitely
on another planet. Never in the history of human suffering
has so much excitement been seen for so little .. no
ooops, didn't say that, I mean so much. Martin hasn't
stopped talking about it ... it is none other than Lord
of the Rings. It was good though. Shame it was in French
the first time! :o)

The movie was sooooo good in fact that
James has had to go for a little lie down to work on
his psychic powers. Watch out for their double act.
They can read your mind. No really, they can. They'll
be touring from January (starting in the alpaka). Tickets
will be on sale from ...
Eleanor is coping admirably with a house
full of boys - and definitely gets week's most improved.
After a few lessons has boosted her confidence - we're
scared. We know you're supposed to get better in a season,
but not this fast! Look out for her speeding past in
a blur. Competitive Steph better watch out :o)

Looking forward to crazy 80s piste crawl,
and Christmas dinner on Wednesday. Watch this space
for more reports of season antics. aaaaaarrrrrggggghhhh.
Here's to a good one!
Reports from Chamonix coming soon
