WEEK 2
SNOW AND CHALET REPORT

Can't believe we've been here 2 weeks ...

Two weeks ago today and everyone arrived in resort ... amazing how time flies when it's not snowing ...

TOP GUN MARK 2 - Maverick of the week goes to Declan, following his amazing marathon snog in Jimmy's (started at 4.30pm, still going at 10.30pm).

Rhod has been showing his support back at base - with hot toddies and a guitar at the ready (going for the record of 14 nights on the piss). Sadly his own first attempts with the local women have proved thus far unfruitful (great knack of picking the married ones) ... still it's OK, cos after a day in the board park, he's discovered kickers now! Much more important.

Dave and Jess are the big chalet romance ... as are Katie and Colin (Daddy), who's brief trip back the UK has resulted in 100s of dvds, 1000s of cans of redbull, and The Caffreys.

In spite of bad conditions, everyone's been making the effort to get up the mountain every day - and whether practising riding switch, learning to board for the first time, or landing the first 'fat air' - everyone's still having fun ... just waiting for the snow.

Snow news ...

Resort is looking decidedly peaky - it hasn't snowed since 30th December so we're hanging for the white stuff. Bases are in dire need of a bit of softer ground to slide on (the rocks are killing me). Nothing else to do but throw ourselves fully into the fancy dress party in the Mont Blanc tonight ... have to hope it doesn't sink to new lows of nipple flicking ... nuff said.

Next snow forecast for Tueday or Wednesday this week (22nd/23rd Jan) - although none of the promises of 'quelque flocons' have proved true yet ... will keep you posted
