WEEK 4
SNOW AND CHALET REPORT

And then there was ... :o(

Last week's tantalising powder days were short lived ...

... after Monday's miserable pissing rain washed it all away ... sheet ice and afternoon slush are the predominant features in this week's Planet News.

Still, we've been making the most of unseasonally warm weather in the board park again - with John getting the grabs down nicely, Rhod and Scott sticking their landings, and Nev and Steph getting the hang of 180s ... Tony - not one to be beaten - has finally nailed the 360s off the spine.

... not forgetting Declan, who, after having his arse bruised by Tony (!!), turned his attention from kickers, back to his usual passtime - checking out the laydeez ...

Last Sunday's roast dinner turned into a huge affair with potato peeling and gravy for 25 - check out the photos from this and other nights out in the new photo section.

Wednesday was bowling and cheap drinks round 2, followed by scandal and general drunkeness in the Apokalypse ...

Karaoke in the Mont Blanc was very bad but very funny - and last night's beach-party-turned-Mexican marked Claire, Tracey, Matt and Maria's last night in resort. Can't believe everyone's been here for a month!

Snow news ...

Hmmm ... well the overall cover's better than before, there are fewer rocks in the pistes, and everything's open. Doesn't entirely make up for the fact that there was powder - a foot of it - and then it RAINED! waaaaaaaah :o(

But aside from throwing our toys out of the cot - we've been tanning ourselves in the sun, hitting the kickers with renewed enthusiasm, and generally making the most of long lie ins to let the ice soften up ...

Snow is supposed to arrive in the next couple of days - we'll keep you posted.
