WEEKS 1 & 2
SNOW AND CHALET REPORT

Tignes

The planet Tignes crew arrived in resort on 6th December and have got to grips with laid back life in the Alps very quickly. With a slow start snow-wise, the conditions have now improved loads with 2 solid days and nights of snow, plus more on the way. A white Christmas is definitely on the cards.

Steph's birthday in Tignes marked the start of the season, and was, in true tradition, a night to be completely forgotten. Needless to say no-one made it up the mountain the next day and Steph is still bearing the scars from an evening's pole dancing. Don't ask.

Having spent a week teaching Violetta to board, Pete's been consistent in his 5 hour days, including plenty of getting lost time. With only 2 die hard boarders so far in the house, the skiers are showing them how it's done. Matt Riley and Bryan are both improving fast, and with the seasoned pros, Tom and Ali showing them the skills, we're expecting 'phat' 360s in time for new year.

Chamoinx

Over in Cham, the guys have also been learning about how hard life in the Alps is. Having checked out most of Chamonix and Argentiere's nightlife, including seeing Dan's birthday in in style, they are now making the most of great conditions on the Grand Montets. Easily recognised around Cham, just look for the matching sets of B2 skis. Ben's doing a stirling job, and rumour has it, he's even had a drill out.

Report from Ben coming up ...

Les Arcs

And although the Planet guys haven't yet arrived, Les Arcs is up and running. Having seen in all the opening nights of the bars, including the new bar in Plan Peisey, the Ecureils, the snow's now arrived just in time for Christmas. Looking forward to trying out the new cable car to La Plagne, which is now up and running (or at least one car is), in spite of them having crashed it in a test run!

For those of you who are coming out to Les Arcs (and anyone else!) - Have a great Christmas and New Year, and look forward to seeing you in a couple of weeks.
