LESS THAN YOU THINK! Fill your bag, then halve
it.
Definites:
Gear for riding and gear to wear in the evenings
- think layers - not two seperate wardrobes.
Lots of underwear and socks. Washing doesn't happen
as readily as at home so it makes life easy if you only
have to do it once every couple of weeks.
All your CDs/MP3s - you'll get bored of everything you've
got pretty quickly
A pair of shorts and/or swimming gear - it does get
warm in resort in spring, and you'll need your swimming
stuff if you go swimming/sauna.
Useful if you can carry it:
DVDs
Books & magazines
Playstation games (PS2)
Laptop - if you've got one you can connect to the internet
free
Favourite foods - eg marmite/redbull that you can't
buy
Clippers - if you're a bloke and your hair's short.
Stuff you can use for fancy dress nights - you'd be
suprised how often it will come out...
Don't bother:
Anything dressy - you'll live in trainers and a
hoody so don't bother bringing much dressy stuff
Tons of toiletries/makeup/food - you can buy
it in France ...
Anything for the house
Moon boots (please)
