We charge a total of 1800 UK pounds to handle all aspects of your property purchase and loan.
Initial property consultation: At this stage, we will discuss with you what you're looking for, what your budget is, and which resort(s) you're interested in. This is your opportunity to ask as many questions as you like and get a good idea of what's availble, where, and for what budget. This is a free service!
The Property Hunt: Once you have decided you'd like to go ahead, we will start acting on your behalf to find properties for you. At this stage, we take a non-refundable deposit of 200 UK pounds. This is designed to make sure you are definitely committed to a purchase (if we find something you like!) and also protects us from time wasters - finding your ideal property and researching all the options takes a lot of our time and costs us money!
The Portfolio: On your advice and budget, we will put together a portfolio of suitable properties, which we will view initially on your behalf.
Visits: On the basis of your comments on our portfolio, we will arrange a suitable visiting schedule for you to come out to your chosen resort and view properties yourself. This process may happen very quickly so you will need to be flexible with your travel dates. Desirable properties come and go within days! The vast majority of people want to view a property before they buy, but if you're simply buying as an investment, and don't want to travel, we're also happy to work by telephone and email, with a lot of photos. We will arrange your accommodation and transport to resort if required. We will accompany you on your visits.
Buying: Once you have seen something you like, and decided to buy, we will handle all aspects of the offer, negotiation, purchase, securing a mortgage, and post-purchase property management. Every property purchase is different, but this is likely to include liasing with estate agents, banks / mortgage lenders, notaires, translating documents etc. We will work closely with you to ensure that the process takes place as quickly and smoothly as possible. You can normally excpect a property purchase to take 3 months from when your offer is accepted and you sign the compromis de vente.
Post purchase: Our property management services are not included in the 1800 UK pounds fee, but are flexible, reasonable, and tailor made for you. Whatever your plans for your property, our network of contacts includes cleaners, builders, designers, architects, rental agencies etc. Whatever you need doing to make your new purchase the alpine pad of your dreams, we'll be there to help.
