Bring a well-insulated tent.
If you get lost while climbing your way up the mountain resort or while trekking your way down in a deep forest, the kind of tent you have will make a big impact on your survival. Make sure to bring a well-insulated tent, one that can withstand both warm environments and cold surroundings. This is for your body to set the right kind of temperature, not just when tackled in warm environments and not only when faced in cold surroundings. Just in case you don’t have a tent with you, it’s time for you to build your own tent via a snow wall and a snow cave or an igloo supported by big branches or long twigs and huge leaves.
Bring warm clothes, as well as packs of food and bottles of water.
It’s just like camping on a sunny day or hiking on a sunshiny day – but only, you have to anticipate that days would be longer than usual during the cold months. You should bring warm clothes such as beanies, scarves, gloves, boots, sweatshirts, leggings, t-shirts, pants, socks – even a piece of plastic cover for situations where you need to heat yourself up even without a bonfire. You should also bring at least 10 packs of food and 8 bottles of water for situations where you need to eat and drink even without a warm place to stay.
